What is covered and what is not covered with the Protection Plan?
Most household goods, personal property, business, and commercial items that you may store with Storage By The Box are covered under the protection plan. Items that are not covered include jewelry, precious stones, watches, furs, fur trimmed garments, money, and securities. |

How do I sign up for the Storage By the Box Protection Plan?
When you signup to store your boxes simply check the "Add Protection Plan" option for your boxes. This will automatically add the protection plan to the boxes in your storage order. If you want to add the protection plan to boxes that are already in storage simply fill out our contact form with your request. We will then send back confirmation of coverage for your boxes. |

What if I want to extend my protection plan coverage?
Your protection plan will automatically extend with each of your rent payments. As long as your account remains in good standing or until you cancel your protection plan you will be covered. |
